Ballon d'Or 2017:The Best Footballer of The Year Goes To....

The most awaited trophy of the year is about to see its owner in few months. This blog is about who can win this award this year.

Lionel Messi.Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar will be trying their luck for the Ballon d'Or this year. Both Ronaldo and Messi have been nominated 9 times for the finals where as it is only the second time for Neymar to be nominated after 2015.Interestingly both Ronaldo and Messi have won this award for four times, which is more than any player in the history of football. The power packed performance by the three players is the reason why they have reached the finals.Cristiano Ronaldo has played 36 games this season and scored 37 goals and also 7 assists.Messi has played 40 games this season and scored 39 goals with 9 assists.Whereas Neymar has played 33 games and scored 16 goals with 12 assists.Seeing at the numbers it seems that Neymar is almost out of contention for this award. The real fight is between Ronaldo and Messi. This award is decided by coaches, players and journalists and declared in France. This is the reason this award has been so fair over the years and each year invokes some suspense.
This year I believe that Cristiano Ronaldo will win this award. This is because he had a great role in the grand success of Real Madrid last season. In fact 2016-17 season was the greatest ever in the history of Real Madrid. In terms of goals also Ronaldo has a scoring average of  1.02 goals per match where as Messi has an average of 0.975 goals per match.Above all the impact that Ronaldo created last season was huge and bigger than any other player in the world.Though football is a team sport but these individual awards grab a lot of eyes.In fact this is the reason why Ronaldo has an edge over Messi because Real Madrid has performed better the Barcelona.
Finally Ballon d'Or will be awarded on December 6 and Cristiano Ronaldo must win his fifth
Ballon d'Or.

The last one week of has pulled out many controversies. These incidents are so ugly that one might still wonder if cricket is still a Gentleman's game. This blog is about these incidents and where the future of cricket is heading to. It is so disheartening that there have been not one but three incidents in past one week which have put a dark spot on cricket which is considered a gentleman's game.To start with the ugliest 1.The ball-tampering scandal This tampering was done during the third test match between Australia and South Africa. The whole Australian team was involved in ball tampering. This is not the first ball tampering incident but this is the first time when the whole team is involved in ball tampering which also includes the coach. It also started when the two on-field umpires called Cameron Bancroft in suspicion of tampering the ball. But he said that he had a sunglass cleaner which he used to clean his sunglasses and not tamper the ball. But later in the day vi
